Class Descriptions / Timetable
Allstar Cheer & Dance Training/Recreational Classes
Training classes are a taster of all the different aspects of Allstar cheer and Dance. We work on fitness and flexibility and all basic cheer skills which include jumps, motions, cheers, basic stunts. We also work on many different dance techniques which include jazz, hip hop, modern, funk and pom dance.
This gives cheerleaders an idea of all the different skills involved in Allstar cheer and Dance and helps cheerleaders decide if they wish to do extra competition work in either cheer or dance. We also train for shows & events at these classes.
Cheerleaders who attend the training class have the opportunity to be involved in many events, Gala Days, TV work, sports events, show workall of which is optional.
Tiny Tot Classes
Are similar to the above classes but are aimed at younger kids with emphasis being on fun.
Hip Hop Classes
These are optional classes in hip hop and street techniques including, break dancing, street dance, body popping etc.
Dance Classes
These involve technical training for Allstar Jazz and Pom dance. These are great for dancers hoping to learn the skills required for competition dance and those wanting to brush up their overall dance strength.
Cheer Classes
This is the class where we work on stunts, motions and jump technique for cheer teams.
Ballet Classes
Gymnastics
Our gymnastic classes are foremost to advance our cheerleaders tumbling skills, flexibility and core strength. We do not do beam work or vault we mainly concentrate on power tumbling as this is what is required for cheerleading. Our cheerleaders work on progressions from forward rolls to full twisting layouts.
Adult Classes
These fun classes open to mums, dads, grannies, etc and any beginners over the age of 16. We will work on fitness, toning, dance and a little cheer.
